My introduction to this love/hate relationship with Bob Wier goes like this.
Im driving down to a show and pick up this hitchhiker who needs a ride to the show. Nice guy, knew alot about the band, had a southern charm to him.
So were in the show and he says "lets go down to the floor and make our way up front of the stage". Ok, sounds fun. We get right up front and dude starts SPITTING at Bob. I say" WTF dude?". "Bob Wier is a fag, he sucks" dude says to me. Now granted, the short shorts and pink Izod with berkinstocks is a bit poncy, but hey, what do I care. Dude could play his guit in nothin but a pink tutu, what do I care, Im here to see the music and hear the colors. I bailed on him REAL quick.
After the show, dude meets me at my car and wants a ride back up to Humboldt Co., for obvious reasons. Needless to say, I left his deadhead ass there by the side of the road.

Bravo!!!This reminded me of the worse basterd I ever got tup put up with at a show:this hypocrit had a fancy bus,invited me to step in to see a nice crystal collection displayed therein,smiles to offert tea,I sat a moment and he spewed uot in hatred of th Grateful Dead,couldn't put up with this garbage mouth and for once,I understood english super fast .walked of bus all upset had forgotten my purse in there because he had alredy ripped it off while I looked at the bait,the crystals Professional thief,sharking the shows's parking lots .My purse had 3 days of tickets,ripped-off,my passeport,money,smokes,keys,allgone .the bastard had locked his bus and vanished through a hidden door ;I called on deadheads to intervened,thousands of them near by and not one of them even cared what was being done to us all with this creepo too busy to get own personal fun .But let's be real clear:that was the worse that ever happende to me among deadheads !! Went to over 160 shows,cared about,welcomed,greeted,and I have a million thanks, espacially the men mostly all decent towards me and that's why I could hang out with them aroud in the first place Needless to say that without their good vibes most girls wouldn't bother seeing them ,not even for a GD concert!!!
